First corset in the making

After two days of intense hands on corsetry classes my corset is finally beginning to take shape. I opted for silk dupioni for material and somehow managed to stuff in 26 bones. The pattern itself is a very simple Tudor style corset, but the boning is hard work. Absolutely love the process though, so I doubt this will be my last.

On that note, just received confirmation that my first corsetry book has shipped.

Here’s a couple of photos of the work in progress:

Accessories shopping online

I found these wonderful little items on AlicePleasance.etsy.com and fell in love with them. I just received my little parcel and the items are just as adorable in real life! Warmly recommended for any vintage goddess out there!
